Third Grade
Third grade is an important, exciting year. We learn
the multiplication facts and we learn to write in cursive. We make
the transition from learning to read to learning from reading.
Accelerated
Reader is a big part of 3rd grade. In science we study life structures
and water. In social studies, we study communities.

Homework Policy
Expect 60 minutes of homework Monday through Thursday including
independent reading and memorizing multiplication facts.
Field Trips
We take field trips into the community that bring our learning
to life.

hours of instruction for students who qualify.
