PTA (Parent Teacher Association)

The Cherry Chase Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an out-of-district unit organized under the authority of the California State PTA for the purpose of encouraging parent involvement, offering parent education, and forming a partnership with the local school site to support the educational program.

The PTA consists of an active group of parents and teachers whose goal is to enrich the lives of all of the students at Cherry Chase. The PTA helps manage and fund fantastic programs at Cherry Chase including in-class music and art, after-school band and violin, a reading lab, math lab, computer lab and much more. We sponsor one major fundraiser (Walk-a-thon) and several other revenue-generating activities throughout the year ( Fall Festival, Sally Foster gift wrap sales) so that we may supplement the educational opportunities available for all Cherry Chase students. We also manage the eScrip and Scrip programs for the Cherry Chase community.

General Associating meetings are usually held the 3rd Tuesday of each month. PTA Membership is available at any time throughout the school year, with our regular Membership Drive kick-off at the beginning of the school year.
