KLAS 

During KLAS hours (2:15-6:00 pm) We strive for the students to be responsible, safe, and respectful. If we see a child acting on these three goals, they will receive a ticket. At the end of each week, there is a drawing for the students that received tickets throughout the week. Students can win various prizes such as small toys, pencils, and notebooks. Please encourage your child to remember these goals as there is a reward for such good behavior !

  • KLAS is having open house on May 22nd in room 26. Don't miss it! 
  • The ice cream party was a success and all grade levels participated! 
  • Ms. LaTonya and Lizabeth are enjoying their ice cream below on the left.
  • The students also fingerpainted pictures of sheep as an art project on friday.

 

REMINDERS FOR PARENTS:

EARLY PICK UP- Please remember to write down the time and code that applies if you are picking up your child before 5:45 pm. 

READING TIPS FOR PARENTS:

Once is not enough

Encourage your child to re-read favorite books and poems. Re-reading helps kids read more quickly and accurately.

Dig deeper into the story

Ask your child questions about the story you've just read. Say something like, "Why do you think Clifford did that?"
