Elective Classes - Home Science - Teacher: Mrs. Hougardy

Students will develop skills that can be used now to improve their individual and family well-being. Students will:

• Prepare "home cooked" waffles, yeast rolls, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, pizza, and seasonal favorites.
• Plan a decorating makeover of their room.
• Sew a decorator, sports or graduation pillow, stuffed animal or accessory bag.
• Practice the consumer skills needed to make good choices.
• Sample the "home cooking" of other cultures.

Students are expected to pay a lab fee.
