Vargas School Supplies for 2006-2007

As we prepare for the 2005-06 school year, Vargas staff will again be asking parents to donate some regularly used school supplies to help off-set our budget expenditures. Your generous donations for school supplies help reduce our budget expenses by approximately $5,000. Please provide the following items for your child on the first day of school if you are financially able.

PLEASE: Do Not send in specialty items such as fluorescent markers, sparkly crayons, or fancy pens and pencils.

Supplies for Fall

All Students need:

  • 1 backpack labeled with their name

  • 1 box of kleenex

Kindergarten:
  • 4 glue sticks
  • Crayola Markers (basic 8 color set)
  • Large Crayons (8 color set)
  • Colored pencils
  • 1 bottle of white glue
  • 2 rolls of paper towels
  • 1 ream of white Xerox paper
Third Grade:
  • Crayola Crayons (16 color set)
  • Pencil top erasers
  • 2 glue sticks
  • 2 soft pink erasers
  • 24 color Crayola Colored Pencils
  • Pencil Box
  • Crayola Markers (8 color set)
  • 1 dz. Plain yellow # 2 pencils
  • Small scissors
First Grade
  • 1 box of Crayola colored pencils (12)
  • 2 rectangular large erasers
  • Fisker scissors for kids
  • 6 glue sticks
  • 1 box of 8 color crayons
Fourth/Fifth Grades–required 1st week
  • Kid’s Scissors
  • 2 glue sticks
  • 1 Crayola Markers
  • 1 dz. Plain yellow # 2 pencils
  • Sm. Pencil Box – Optional
  • 2 packs of 200 ct lined binder paper 1
  •  box thin colored pencils
  • 2 soft pink erasers
Second Grade
  • 1 dz. Plain yellow #2 pencils
  • Small Scissors
  • 3 large glue sticks
  • 4 oz. bottle of Elmers glue
  • Colored Pencils (12 color set, Crayola)
