My name is Marivic Walch, and I am a proud fifth grade teacher at Bishop School. I am fortunate to be working with two other amazing teachers, Mrs. Kazos and Miss Zamani. This is my 18th year at Bishop School. This is my 13th year of teaching 5th grade. I taught 4/5 Multi-Age for 2 years, 4th grade for 2 years, and had a 4/5 Combo for 1 year. As you can see, I love working with the older kids! Prior to teaching at Bishop School, I worked in several classrooms in Long Beach and San Francisco.

I am originally from Long Beach, in Southern California. I have been living in the Bay Area since 1996. When I am not at school, I am very busy with my own two daughters, who are in middle school and high school. They keep my husband and me very busy. When I have some free time, I love to spend it with family and friends, usually doing something active and adventurous...or eating!
