     Book 1              Book 2          Book 3      Book 4       Book 5

Grades k-1 will be read a book, during storytime, from the five California Young Reader Medal nominated books.  After all five books have been read to your child he/she will vote for his/her favorite nominated book. This is also the time they learn about casting a vote and what it means!

For the 2018-2019 school year our students voted for If You Want To Bring An Alligator To Schoo, Don't! by Elise Parsley.  That book also won the CYRM award!

Visit the CYRM website for details about the award and nominations:  http://www.californiayoungreadermedal.org

Library has barely opened and we already have lost books!

Books are being taken out of backpacks at "after school" programs, child care, or on buses.  These books rarely get returned and parents are responsible for paying.

Your child will be prevented from checking out another library book until payment for the book is received.

Please talk to your child about responsibility and help prevent the loss or damage of library books.
