Construction Safety Update

December 1, 2021

As we continue to make progress on our campus modernization project we want to reach out to our families and community members in regards to the safety measures surrounding our construction site.

We would first like to say that the Sunnyvale School District and the City of Sunnyvale will continue to work together to make sure all safety measures are abided by and that we maintain a safe worksite for all students, staff, parents, and community members.

The construction fence that surrounds the site is installed to maintain a safe perimeter that separates the active construction site from the public. This fence will remain in place until the completion of each phase of the construction project. There will be times throughout the project that the fence-line will need to be shifted and we will do our best to give as much advance notice on when these instances will be occurring.

We understand the inconvenience of having some of the sidewalks closed during this process but please follow the directions of all posted construction signage that surround the site. Please cross the street inside designated crosswalks and make sure to check both directions for traffic prior to crossing. These measures are in place to keep everyone safe.

It takes all of us working together to keep everyone safe. Thank you for your partnership and cooperation.
