A few years ago, our community created the Sunnyvale Promise, a vision for what every student in our schools deserves. We are working this year to shape the future of Sunnyvale. This year isn't about writing a new plan. It's about making the one we have clearer, stronger, and more inclusive.

More Voices. We want to reach every part of our community, especially the voices we haven't heard enough from yet.

More Action. We want to do what our community tells us matters most, not just talk about it.
By spring, all of you will have helped shape what comes next, and together we will be ready to bring the Sunnyvale Promise to life in 2027 and beyond.

Promise Families Fellowship
9 in-person sessions, monthly on Tuesdays 5:30 - 8:00 pm
We are launching a new program for Sunnyvale parents to grow as leaders, connect with other families, and help shape what success like like for all our kids.
What you'll gain:

Dinner, childcare, English-Spanish interpretation, and a $300 stipend will be provided.
Promise Team
8 in-person sessions between October and March
This working group brings together students, families, and educators to make sure the district's work reflects what our community has actually said it needs. You'll help launch a listening campaign, dig into real student data, and shape recommendations that become the actual priorities and plans for our schools.
Dinner, childcare, English-Spanish interpretation, and a $300 stipend will be provided.
