Mission Statement
San Miguel School is a great place to learn and grow. Our teachers and staff are dedicated to challenging each child at their level and they create warm, loving environments for our students to learn and grow. See us with our students in or outside the classroom and you'll see it for yourself.
Our parents and community members also make San Miguel a fabulous place to be. We welcome and encourage volunteers to be on campus working with students in the classrooms and supporting the classroom from home.
San Miguel is also home to Juntos, a Dual Immersion Spanish-English Program. Dual-immersion students develop outstanding analytical skills that strengthen learning overall and become fully literate in both English and Spanish during their primary school years, giving them an advantage in high school, college, and beyond.
In Juntos, Spanish for "together", students will learn Spanish and English at the same time, achieving bilingualism and biliteracy. Regardless of what language you speak at home, this program will develop your child’s ability to speak and read academic Spanish and English, as well as strengthen all academic areas.
In our environment of constant learning in both Spanish and English, the Juntos program mission is to cultivate:
