    Walkathon Rewards

    This week our students earned a spirit week, as well as a fun extra recess sponsored by the PTA on Thursday, April 24th, because of all their hard work fundraising during our school Walkathon. Go Sharks!



    ELAC Meeting

    Please come join our English Language Advisory Committee this Friday, April 25th at 8:10am in our school library. ELAC is a committee designed to support and receive stakeholder feedback from families of students learning English as their second language. If you aren’t sure if your child is identified as an English Learner please reach out to your child’s teacher. During the meeting we will share information about the upcoming state testing and some tips around supporting your children’s education.

    CMS Incoming 6th Grade Parent Informational Session

     

    SESD Family Literacy Night at San Miguel

    We are excited to invite district families with students in TK-5th grade to Family Literacy Night – an evening of stories, creativity, and community! This event will feature dinner, bookmark coloring, engaging storytime sessions in both English and Spanish, and a special presentation from the Sunnyvale Public Library about virtual library cards and the Library of Things.

    City of Sunnyvale East Channel Trail Survey

    The City of Sunnyvale is gathering input on the proposed Channel Trail, which would run near San Miguel. Families are encouraged to share their thoughts through a short survey, available in English and Spanish here.

     

    This project could impact safe routes to school and help preserve green space in our area — your voice matters!

    Yearbooks are now available to purchase online at https://tr5.treering.com/. If you order soon you can add personalized pages to your child’s yearbook until the April 24th deadline.
