San Jose State University: Masters of Social Work

 

The 2024-2025 SY will be Ms. Vicky's fourth year with the Columbia Middle School team. A graduate of the Sunnyvale School District, Ms. Vicky attended Bishop Elementary School as a child. As an adult, she interned with the district while completing her master's degree program. Ms. Vicky lives by the motto "De La Comunidad. Para La Comunidad" (From the Community. For the Community), and she is very proud to be working with the students, staff, and families of CMS. 

 

Always passionate about her work, Ms. Vicky interned with the Juvenile Diversion Program through the Redwood City Police Department, provided outpatient therapy for the County of Santa Clara, and has worked with the City of Sunnyvale. She is well-versed with the programs and resources available to the community.

 

When Ms. Vicky is not at CMS, she enjoys crafting, spending time with friends and family, relaxing at home, and taking weekend trips to explore new cities!
