The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) consists of an active group of parents and teachers whose goal is to enrich the lives of all students at Cherry Chase. The PTA helps manage and fund fantastic programs at Cherry Chase that enhance our children’s educational experience. These programs include in-class music and art, FAME, an extensive list of after-school programs, the garden (our outdoor science classroom), Accelerated Reader, K-3 P.E. Coaches, and much more. We hold two major fundraisers during the school year, Direct Appeal in the fall and the Walk-A-Thon in the spring. Funds from these are used to supplement the educational opportunities available for all Cherry Chase students. We also have relationships with businesses that donate a percent of their proceeds to our school. For more information on all these programs, see the PTA website.
