• Campus Safety
     
    The policies listed on this page support our goal of keeping students and families safe at Cherry Chase.  Please familiarize yourself with these procedures. 
  • Cherry Chase is a CLOSED campus.
    All visitors must sign in at the front office and obtain a visitor's pass when visiting during school hours.  Penal Code Section 627.
  • Gate Closure 

    The gates along Grape Ave. are closed and locked from 8:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. daily.
     
     Gates on Grape Ave. are opened at 12:30  p.m. every Friday.
  •  Supervision

    Please drop your child off at school no earlier than 8:00 a.m.  Supervision is provided on the playground from 8:00-8:15 a.m. Students eating breakfast at school may arrive at 7:45 a.m.
     
    It is equally important that your child is picked up on time at the end of school day.  School dismissal is 2:25 p.m. for  Kinder and 2:25 p.m. for all other grades.  Early dismissal each Friday for K through third grade is at 12:45 p.m.  All students are released at 12:45 on Teacher Learning Days (TLDs).

  • Student Bathrooms

     
    The student bathrooms are for student use only.  Adults should NOT be in the student bathrooms for any reason.
  • Traffic & Parking

    For the safety of all, please follow all traffic laws when arriving to and departing from Cherry Chase each day.  When dropping off students at the front of the school, please use the right lane and pull forward as directed before opening doors.  The left lane should be reserved for those moving through the drop off area.
    Please respect designated parking areas for staff and handicap students.

  • Furry Friends
    Must Be Left at Home
     
    We love meeting the other members of your family, especially your dogs.  But for the safety of all, pets are not allowed on campus, before, during, or after school hours.
