Cherry Chase feels that character development is paramount in developing healthy values. It is our goal to encourage positive qualities so that Cherry Chase students will develop good character, make appropriate choices, and be effective leaders. Our character-building program includes specific focus traits for each month.  

 

Teachers work with students to identify the specific qualities that are exhibited by people with these traits through classroom activities, role-playing, and character analysis.  Throughout the month, staff members are on the lookout for students who are exhibiting positive character in our school. Students who have exhibited these traits throughout the month are recognized by each class at our Friday Flag ceremony.
