Setting the foundation

• It gives the students an opportunity to practice skills taught in class.
• It gives you a chance to be involved with your child’s learning.
• Daily homework
• 30 minutes/day + 20 minutes of reading/day (M-TH)

Please encourage your child to practice their math facts daily. (sumdog, flash cards, games)

Parental assistance:

• Review the homework with your child for completion & help correct any mistakes.

Homework Folders

• Please remind your child to bring his/her homework folder to class every day

Homework folders are a Major channel of communication between the classroom and home.

I encourage you to establish a routine with your child in regards to keeping their homework /folder together and in a safe place.
