Fairwood Explorer hosts school tours once a month to allow an opportunity for prospective families to learn more about the school and community. During school tours, participants will receive information about the following topics: general information about the school, a brief overview of the curriculum and instruction, support services offered, and the role of the Fairwood Alliance.  Following this informational session, we will have a brief visit to classrooms.  

When we visit classrooms we would like to minimize distractions for the students in those classes. Therefore, there will be limited space for each tour.  We also ask that you make alternative arrangements for your young children, as they will not be allowed to go into classrooms.  

To register, please call the Fairwood office at 408-523-4870 or email Lisa Walker at lisa.walker@sesd.org.  You will need to provide the name of the adult attending, the grade level of your incoming student(s), and an email address for a reminder prior to your tour date. You may wish to provide an alternative date, should your first choice be unavailable.  Please note that our tour dates in January and February fill up quickly due to their proximity to registration dates.
