Starting Kindergarten is a new beginning for learning, developing friendships, confidence, and independence. However, it is normal for both children and parents to feel anxious about being completely prepared to start Kindergarten as well. FIRST 5 Santa Clara County in collaboration with the Santa Clara County Partnership for School Readiness has developed this handbook to help parents and caregivers prepare children for a successful Kindergarten experience.
