My priorities are to :

*Give each child a solid foundation and help them develop socially and academically. 

*Provide a safe, supportive, and fun classroom environment for both students and parents.

*Develop a partnership with parents to provide the best educational experience for students.

I use the curriculum adopted by the state and selected by our district. I use the Reader’s and Writer’s Workshop methods to build life long literacy habits. I am also committed to differentiated, small group instruction and hands-on inquiry based learning (project based learning). In our classroom we celebrate cultural traditions and holidays.
