Welcome!  My name is Mrs. Sousa, and I am a 2nd grade teacher. This is my 14th year teaching (8 years in 1st, 3 years in 6th, and 3 years in 2nd). This is my 3rd year here at Fairwood and I love being part of the Explorer team. I was born in the Bay Area (El Camino Hospital to be exact) and I went to Fresno State to earn my bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies, along with my credential. I believe that the learning process for every child should be a positive and successful experience. 

I love to hang out with my family and friends.  I enjoy photography and french fries.
