Strategic Plan

The Sunnyvale School District’s Strategic Plan was developed during a months-long process throughout the 2023-2024 school year. Its primary aim is to align all educational partners in a shared vision, common goals, and unified direction for our District’s educational efforts over a six-year period.
Community-wide engagement was vital to the strategic planning process. Thanks to the diverse voices and perspectives of our students, families, staff, partners, and community members, SSD's Strategic Plan captures their vision, hopes, and dreams for students.
The strategic planning process also aligned with our Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP).
Over six months, 35 planning sessions with over 415 participants informed our plan, which can be found below. Thank you to everyone who participated!
On behalf of the Sunnyvale School District students, staff, community, and school board, please join us in this important work as we lift all students, every day!
